KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 23 — The DAP has urged the Najib administration to have an open tender for the proposed Matrade expo centre in Jalan Duta after the controversial RM628 million project was given to Naza TTDI in a building-for-land deal.
Petaling Jaya Utara MP Tony Pua said today documents for the project should be declassified if the government fails to re-tender the new expo centre, echoing a similar statement from party leader Lim Kit Siang.
“We call upon Datuk Seri Najib Razak to re-tender the project to select the best contractor or developer who could provide the highest level of services at the lowest possible price in the shortest possible time to ensure that the interest of the government is fully protected," Pua told reporters in Parliament.
Naza-TTDI, a unit of the diversified Naza group, will build the expo centre on a 13.1-acre site in Jalan Duta in exchange for 65 acres of state land at RM226 per square feet (psf) although the market value of the land could reach RM1.5 billion. The entire project will have a gross development value of RM15 billion, the developers said last week.

I am ashamed to say that I do not really know whats going. If there is any hanky-panky suspicion on this matter lets hope that the government can give a good explanation.
Rakyat susah nak dapat projek..tapi Naza group makin kaya and kaya..tentulah kita rakyat biasa meleleh airliur tengok this sort of thing..the cake seems to be handed to only the very very already rich companies..WHY???

Ya, this sort of blatant business had been going on for far too blardy long, that it had actually become a way of life for them. It doesn’t seem to worry the perpetrators too much does it? F**k if they care what the general public thinks! It’s about time someone up there do something about it, else there’ll be no future for the next generation.

Why u want to come to ‘Dullsville’ Perth for? It’ll be like wasted life for young talented people like u. It’s more for retiree, recluse, hermit like me, where everything is slow, technology & fashion is behind the rest of the world. Standard of living is high, blardy 16% cost of living higher than that of London & New York according to recent polls. Me? I just love the nice, slow quiet life style; no rush, no worries be happy (nicer way of saying I’m a lazy slacker…hahaha).

I disagree with Datin Mamasita here. Rakyat biasa tak semua meleleh airliur. Not all of us are as greedy as the Barisan cronies. Meleleh airliur takde, menyampah dan meluat ada.
