,,, i have seen these kind of poor/irresponsible types at Kapas, leaving the kids to horse play at the beach front as well in the waters. TOLD them off a couple of times about safety plus to be in CONTROL b4 anything bad were to happen-lah.
,,,its about safety management which many Malaysian takes for granted unfortunately !.
,,,It starts with safe journey management to/from location and environment safety management plus all outdoors activities safety management.
,,,for all activities, an safety survey cum safety management MUST be conducted. All potential hazards shall be listed out and control protocols be in place or if possible eliminated or guards/barrier be in positioned. These are standard practise that we conduct in Shell. Without which, its a NO GO !. We have a GO NO GO checklist and its mandatory to ensure SAFETY as top priority i.e. for Zero ERROR AND safety first. Its part of our daily safety culture, jadi darah daging.
,,,Perhaps, we should get these kind of safety culture be taught at all schools too ?
,,,am not trying to blame the teachers but they are the responsible party here which failed in managing such simple safety protocol !!. Am very disappointed and sad since it could be avoided in the 1st place if only they had managed safety as part of their role.

,,,as parents, please check out with the school before you sign off the approval letter letting your kids to participate in outdoors activiies in future.
