I was going on my Raya rounds. And noticed that every housing area in KL and its outskirts and maybe even elsewhere is now like an Iraqi city US army checkpoint. Guards, gates, barriers, interrogation. I wish my residence guards were like the Gestapo/trigger-happy US army guys too, but depa pakai pas tangan. Angkat tangan, Chin Peng, Bentong Kali pun boleh pas. Apa lagi Indon2 naik motor. And the night guard sleeps. Coz he works two jobs. He leaves the barrier open and drools away.
I also read the paper today. A Mat Salleh was SHOT trying to save a 70 year old lady from snatch thieves. SHOT! They have guns now. An A student smashed her head in front of her mum, was comatose for a week, and died. Tak sempat ambik SPM. Because of snatch thieves.
Remember the two pregnant women who died earlier? And many others? My sister was also a victim. My husband and his two friends were ambushed at parang point by ice-maddened rempits, 200 metres from the Wangsa Link police station. Police tidur kot. Atau sama2 takut. Ah Longs terrorise two neighbors of mine, threatening our guards and residents and properties (tried to burn one house, or at least the trees...police said "aiyoyo...we also velly the scary one of these Al Longs!") Almost everyone we know is a victim of burglary. Or snatch thieves or rempit terrorists. THEY should be sent to Guantanamo. Leave it open for them.
I have a question.
WHAT THE FUCK IS THE IGP, HOME MINISTER AND PRIME MINISTER DOING ABOUT IT?

good question mate.
The way you hear the politicians say it, it's as though as long as there are jobs for everyone, those with criminal tendencies will be satisfied and will not resort to crime to accumulate their ill-gotten gains. Bullshit. Criminals do what they do not because they have starving parents and famished babies at home, but because they have been getting away with it and know they can continue to get away with it.
Someone has to snatch the no 1 lady's handbag before they ever get serious... hehe
i remember a few years ago when tv runs the series called the professionals. bodie and doyle were members of a unit called ci5. their job is to blast away criminals that normal police and procedure can't handle.
america have got the star chamber. human rigts called it extra judicial killings.
in indonesia in the early eighties, known criminals suddenly turn up dead on the streets. nobody knows who killed them. indonesia was condemned by the world media. but some indon i met were happy, sekarang aman pak, dulu kami tidak berani untuk keluar rumah hari malam, sekarang selamat, they told me.
extreme situations calls for extreme measures.
i still like bodie. i have got his hairstyle now. i wear a leather jacket just like his when i ride. except that his was brown and mine black.
AJ,
Can I send that one line to the PM? hehehe...

Ya the criminals are well-to-do meh...the poor just suffer silently..paling tak curi susu jer kot untuk anak

AJ,
that was decades ago, meh...now most series suck, tak best macam dulu2...
Tok Uban,
So How do I fight the robbers with parnags and all? Hit them with a frying pan over the head?
Gimme a Glock.
Saya,
,,,get a guard dog, a properly trained one !!. Or train oneself for the role ??.
,,,take up Silat or the likes, will keep you healthy too. Kill two birds yaa ?.
,,,be mentally strong In order to be successful in life, we have to be mentally strong.
,,,There are 2 dimensions you have to attend to. First of all, you
should be very clear as to what you want to do and how you are going to do it.
,,,To a small extent, you do have to consider opinions of other people. (And to a still smaller extent, leave some thing for luck to intervene.)
,,, When you are very clear what you want to do and how to go
about it, chances are you may get a doubt as to whether you are not doing anything wrong ??.
,,,In such circumstances, ask yourself two questions, (a)
whether by doing what you are doing, you are taking one step nearer to realization of your dreams, (b) by doing what you are doing, whether you are harming anyone.!!
,,,you don't need a golok-lah, just confident in oneself to handle any situation,,,,,no one will dare rob/touch you ever again !!.
Tok Uban
Hey Saya, wah crime rate in M’sia really this bad nowadays kah, getting worse I heard. Maybe we shud bring in Arab’s law. Back in those days (still current I think) in Arab cities, everyone can go to Friday prayers leaving all their shops & houses unlocked, still no problem. Hmmm food for tots ya?
Criminals shud not have &/or given any rights, they’ve forfeited it once they harm another human being, betul tak?
Salam,
Tommy
Tommy,
that one Muslim law lah...potong tangan...hudud is good deterrent...but islamophobia...what to do?
ya lah...don't feel safe anymore even in own home.
last time i was back, i was amazed at the number of gated communities/housing estates, like crossing sentry points everytime i have to visit someone. next time got to bring passports arh? if it doesn't make a difference, why pay for it or do they give the residents a false sense of security? it kinda creates a picture of a greater sense of disparity/divide between the haves and the have-nots though, is this how we want it? the crims are running it like a cowboy town by the looks of it.
