illusions

Thank God
for the power of illusions
for without that
there is only
the inescapable ugly reality
but ultimately
illusions
too
like hot, bright, massive stars
die hard
in a blinding display of supernovae
collapsing
sucked
into massive black holes
of no return
but
there is always another one
being born
soon enough
from the scattered stardust
that we too are made of.
