The Plight of Women Soldiers
More women have fought and died in Iraq than in all the wars since World War II put together. Yet the US military continues to treat them like second class citizens.

"Nobody believes me when I say I'm a veteran," she said that day, tucking her long red hair behind her ears. "I was in Iraq getting bombed and shot at, but people won't even listen when I say I was at war. You know why? Because I'm a female."

Hai..kali ni takreti betul nak komen. I rasa matsalleh memang selalu complain pasal equality.Kita Asians and Muslim ladies generally have accepted that the men lead the way..right?? And the men have more rights and its a men's world right?
And we ladies selalu kena bully and are generally at their mercy right?? hahaha
Mamasita,
I don't think its a man's world. Mostly cultural lah the discrimination in the Muslim world (minset Melayu atau Arab). Women were given far more rights in Islam.
With regards to total equality, men and women are just psychologically and physiologically different, with their own roles, supporting/complementing each other, actually. The only equalizer is taqwa, our deeds in the eyes of Allah.
Equality is so overrated and a tired old horse flogged repeatedly. Terima jer lah, naluri dan fitrah kita lain2...ni susah sket Westerners/non-muslims nak terima...sebab they don't see the larger picture of our place in the world and its purpose/end. Dunia ni lah segalanya bagi mereka.
Kalau kita Muslim wives/women kena bully, its because of ignorance of duties and rights towards each other as laid out in our Deen.
kes bodoh (agama) sombong dan ego, of course lah mostly from men's side ;)...haha
