That man does NOT deserve that baby...leaving it out in the cold each night. I have never seen it go past the guard house either. Does he drive it at all? Or just look at it...?
I don't know what everyone is complaining about...the Benggali peon cum taxi driver cum OCD housekeeper (I too was OCD once until I had kids...they liberated me...hahaha) next door has his interior deco out of the pages of Town & Country worth almost 300k, the towkay ikan with the refrigerated pick-up dripping fish water in front of my house has a brand new Estima parked in his porch and had his angioplasty done at Gleneagles, the Malay guy opposite has a V12 7-series BMW and he can't even open his e-mails without his secretary's help..and here I am, a gomen-sponsored US-grad driving a...err.. Proton Persona in a sparsely furnished house out of the pages of How-Not-to-Decorate-Your-House.
And the guy with the SL 55...he probably sells joss-sticks for a living. I see him praying fervently each morning at his tokong with a handful of them before hopping onto the kapcai to work (maybe he prays I don't steal his Merc while he is away).
The latte-sipping Bangsar liberals whining about discrimination and inequality must be living in another universe. Or maybe their brains got de-caffeinated.
(And oh. An illegal immigrant from down south, a kiasu Singaporean Malabari mamak, snared a local's husband. Talk about wide-ranging possibilities and opportunity, opportunity...)

Interesting..I often hear my family saying, don't underestimate that towkay babi who comes round selling pork in his kapcai..because when he goes home..he has a Merc and BMW waiting for him. Or how a wantan mee seller (someone I know lah...) who bought a 3 storey house and renovated it for 400k!! wow!! I pun mau jual 1tonmee...or my neighbour who sells at the hawker stall..but drives a WISH and Camry too. Or another neighbour who has a 'small' crane biz - that's what he said but spent 350k on his hideous home. I went there..baby, if i have 350k..imagine what I could do with it. But alas, 350K could buy some reno but not taste. everything was mismatched and huge for the sake of being huge, but really in poor taste. Ah well, beauty in the eye of the beholder lah!

Agree with tok senek. What for spend all that money and become a slave to your property? Tido malam pun tak lena takut barang kena curi. For me, I would rather live a moderate life, but with peace of mind. Lantak la neighbours and family tonggang-terbalik berlumba who has the most extensive renovation, the most expensive car, holiday luar negeri bla bla bla... I'd rather not join the race. I'm sure you're like that too... judging from the car you drive hehehe...
I suppose nobody would care you have poor taste if you live moderately... they just assume that you're living within your means and won't hold you accountable.

Heheh SAYA, what’s this fascination about Mercs? That’s what I call passions & love. Yeah those guys got the wrong motivation to own these life little luxuries. I meant u should spoil yourself if it really really makes u happy, not just so that others could envy or respect u. I said this coz u are more deserving to own the Merc that that guy!
Anyway it’s time to move out of this neighbourhood if you can’t keep up with the Abus, Chongs, Muthus & Harbajans, kakaka, only joking, jangan marah ok? Yeah, oso makes that piece of ‘paper’ u worked so hard for all those years ago seems so insignificant when it comes to wealth accumulation, sad but true.
