Labbayka Allahumma Labbayk.

At 3pm today, he left for the Haj with her.

I let him go with forgiveness so that he could be at ease fulfilling his obligation towards Him.

Despite all my words, he knows and He knows that they came from a deep hurt.

But I have forgiven him.

Because I know he is a mere man. A mere mortal who in his ignorance caused extreme hurt.

I don't want to hurt anymore or cause any more hurt...

So I let him go with an open heart in the hope that he will come home a better man, a better father, a better husband.

And I hope that I will be a better woman too.

Hi, I saw this movie on the flight back. It's an Indonesian movie titled Berbagi Suami. There are basically 3 intertwined stories of 3 families on how each deal with the issue of polygamy. One man is a wealthy Pak Haji politician, the second a poor driver, both Muslims, and the third, a middle class Chinese roast duck stallowner.all set in Jakarta. Well worth watching, with good acting. Try your local video store, doubt your dvdman would have it!!

Hey Steven...I have that DVD...benci nak tengok lah..bought it but never could watch it...

Which flight did u take? Now Air Asia X or XX or something got 99pounds one way, man...el cheapo for you lah, from Stansted though.

Maryam K,

Hey, when are you and kids coming over for me to blanja swimming pulak? Watcha doin for holidays?

You got the DVD? I thought it was good...

I was on an SQ flight on the new A380 besar plane. Very smooth and quiet..! Food was great too. Got steak even in cattle-class. It was a cheaper fare than MAS could you believe it!

AirAsia will only fly to Stansted and only from 11 March 09 onwards...sigh, I need to be back in KL earlier. Perhaps other airlines will also drop their pricing to compete..fingers crossed.

Too painful to watch lah at the time.

Steak in cattle-class? Hahaha...are you sure it was cattle-steak and not something else?

Ya, cattle-class in SQ is definitely better than MAS cattle-class. I don't know if the seat configuration is the same.
Sudah 3 tahun tak naik plane lah...

But definitely remember the recycled air and almost 30 percent less oxygen levels than business class...

I will wait till they come up with a "beam me up Scotty" version of air travel...

Hi Tehsin

HE is all forgiving, so who are not to forgive? But if it were me, sure tough one. Hopefully your doa will be makbul.

Ydiana,

Susah juga for five years to forgive.

Dunno why I let go yesterday.

Tengoklah nanti...

To err is human, to forgive is divine...

You sound real fresh. Really... could feel it here with this one and in the Facebook message. The flu might actually have helped too...

Forgiving is a beautiful thing. Forgive him. And forgive yourself - cos I see that you wonder at how you contributed to all this. I'm not saying you did, but you seem to think you did.

So forgive yourself for whatever lah. You, too, are human. So forgive.

And cleanse your soul. And let god take you to a better place. You are half way there, my dear.

Love,

Pat

Mat,

Im always fresh, didn't you notice? Hahahaha.

Hey Pat,

Ya, I was dreaming of some Mr FantasyManofMyDreamsForMyself, but I think this old one is already that to my kids, so be it lah...

Don't want them to have to face the shuffling around after divorce.

I will still have my fantasy, no?

Hahaha....

Haj is a great testing time for us humans. I've seen and heard many cases of the unthinkables - just posted one a while ago b4 coming here. From the mere bubur kacang not here to the worst - a man holding a knife when his need not met by the wife.

Good 4 you forgiving what's past.

Many many moons ago, I came across this and it has stuck with me ever since:

To fight a bull when you are not scared is nothing; and not to fight a bull when you are scared is also nothing. But to fight a bull when you are scared, that is something.

Substitute "fight a bull" with "forgive" and "scared" with "disappointed/angry/resentful" and you'll see what I mean.

You chose to forgive because of the Haj. Now that is really something.

The dua means "May Allah protect you and your family."

Tuan Tabib,

Your words hit home really hard.

Hasn't been just one bull. But many bulls. A stampede.

Yes, it IS really something, ain't it?

Allah does not test one with more than we can bear even when we think we have reached our limit already.

And thanks for the dua, may He protect and guide you and yours too, and all my wonderful friends who visit me here often.

Ha ha ha... Your cornering is almost right.
Dia dah lebih 1 bulan different bilik dengan The Mrs. Jadi, nakkan Mrs sama dengan dia, short-cut way, threaten dengan pisaulah. At last, dapat pun.

You sound chirpy cheerful now. I'll come back again.

Yes Ummie,
