Dua for the Oppressed

I can't tear myself away from the Gaza news, yet, tonight, I just can't read anymore. I am utterly sick to my stomach. My heart is pounding. There is a dark pall over everything. I look at my peacefully sleeping children and imagine the unimaginable. I put my children in the place of the terrified, terrorized, sleepless, cold, hungry, thirsty children of Gaza and the helpless parents. The diary of the Gazan in my previous post just did it for me...It is too horrible to watch, what more experience it personally. It is all just too evil beyond belief. And the so called "civilised" world is doing nothing to stop this barbarity...

Ya Rabb, selamatkanlah saudara2 ku yang sedang diuji dengan begitu hebat sekali di Bumi Palestin. Turunkanlah PertolonganMu, RahmatMu, KeampunanMu ke atas mereka...

You are The Ar-Rahman, Ar-Rahim...

وَكَانَ بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ رَحِيماً

And He is ever Rahim (merciful) to the believers.(33:43)

Ya Allah, destroy the Zalimun in the Way that only You Know Best. Bring them to their knees amd inflict Your Horror on them, Ya Allah, for they are the evildoers who bring only death and destruction.

(My good friend Steven joined the Gaza protest in London yesterday and has some compelling pictures here.)

I followed the news over CNA this morning.
After more than 850 deaths, America is all but silent & Obama is not saying anything except for the nations' bread & butter issue.
Don't tell me that the whole world would applause another hypocrite president.
